How Sweet Skyncare Began: Pure and Simple Skincare for Young Skin

Sweet Skyncare was born from a simple idea: kids deserve skincare that’s as pure and uncomplicated as they are. When my tween daughter became obsessed with beauty products and trips to big box beauty stores, I started noticing the expensive items she picked were packed with chemicals, especially “fragrance,” a vague term often used to mask hormone disruptors.

Unnecessary and potentially harmful ingredients were the last thing I wanted soaking into her sensitive skin, because what goes on the skin, goes into the bloodstream.

Tweens and teens don’t need products designed for aging or puffiness. They need gentle, minimal skincare that supports their natural glow. That’s why I created Sweet Skyncare.  Clean, small-batch products made with no more than 10 safe, purposeful ingredients. No harsh chemicals, no artificial fragrances. Just simple, pure, effective care.

Sweet Skyncare is all about helping young people build healthy habits, starting with skincare they can trust. They don’t need complicated routines or long ingredient lists. They just need something simple. Something pure. Something Sweet.

Our Ingredients

Aloe Vera– a cactus-like plant that has anti-inflammatory, skin protection, and wound healing properties.

Arrowroot Powder– a gluten-free powder that is white, flavorless, and odorless made from the starchy tubers of the arrowroot plant.

Cera Alba– Beeswax- a natural wax produced by honey bees.

Cetyl Alcohol–  A type of waxy substance produced from coconut, palm, rice bran, sugarcane, or vegetable oils, that is not absorbed into the bloodstream.

Distilled Rose Water– A fragrant liquid made by steeping rose petals in water. It hydrates, soothes, and refreshes the skin.

Essential Oils– Organic Orange and

Glycerin– Attracts moisture from the air into your skin (like a magnet for water), naturally found in fats and oils.

Grape Seed Oil– Lightweight, antioxidant-rich oil made from the seeds of grapes,  contains fatty acids hat help hydrate and soften skin.

Leucidal Liquid– A natural preservative derived from radish root ferment. Inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microbes. Good for sensitive skin formulas.

Shea Butter– a rich, creamy fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree that’s moisturizing, healing, and has soothing properties.

Vitamin E– A fat-soluble antioxidant that plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells from damage. It’s nourishing, healing, and has anti-aging properties.
